Graeme Stradling

Graeme Stradling – Korepo Gallery

The Gallery is open all year round, except for the occasional break and has good parking and access.

Graeme began to experiment with printmaking in his early twenties. He developed quickly as an artist and left a career as a biochemist to pursue his creative interests. He is at various times a printmaker, artist, writer, designer, picture framer and musician. His artworks are now collected by galleries and individuals in New Zealand and around the world and he has work in the several permanent collections including Nelson’s Suter Gallery and Dunedin’s Hocken Library.

His work captures the fresh clear light of the New Zealand landscape and he is especially known for his signature screen-prints as well as a range of collaborative creative projects. These include limited edition screen-prints with other artists, as well as other community-based projects.
